A Brave New World Vs. Animal Farm
I have chosen these books to campare for my essay because i find both novels to be of much interest to me and have many similarities. A Brave New World (Adlous Huxley) and Animal Farm (George Orwell) create imagenary societies in which inequality is a dominant. I am currently re-reading Animal Farm to discover more ideas and themes explored throughout the book which i can compare with that of A Brave New World's which i am in the process of purchasing although have already read. Although i am mostly decided to compare these novels i still have some issues with doing so because for starters A Brave New World is set in the future where all humans have predetermined destinies and conditioned from an early age to accept their place in society never challenging the system. Whereas George Orwell created a society of animals that overun the farmers that own them in order to create a equal society. Slowly but surely the equal society they longed for is once again ruled but instead by pigs. Although both ideas are similar, both novels have vastly different plots so could prove hard to compare. The massive difference in length and time of happening in both novels also creates further complications in camparing A Brave New World with Animal Farm.
